Cameron started racing karts in 2022 and has fast become one of the quickest on the tracks around the country. He was awarded a Tier 1 rating within 6 months of starting and has been competing at a national level ever since.

2023 Started his first full year racing in Auckland and achieved the title of ROTAX LIGHTS CHAMPION 2023, also winning overall points champion in Rotax Lights for Kartsport Auckland. He was invited to compete in the Rotax USA Trophy Final in September 2023 where he drove to an impressive 16th out of 36 finalists, especially after starting the final in 29th position due to being taken out in the pre-final.

Cameron is 17 years old and attends Kristin School, located in Albany, Auckland. He has raced over 110 races in his first full year of racing. Cameron’s aspiration is to build a career in motorsport. His ultimate goal for 2024 is to compete in the RMC Karting World Championships in Sarno, Italy in October.

2024 is set to be a huge year, Cameron will compete in two karting classes this year. Senior Rotax Lights and Rotax DD2. The Rotax Light Kart is a Kosmic Mercury RR with rear brakes. The engine is a 125cc and a single drive gear. This kart is capable of speeds up to 140Kmh+. The Rotax DD2 Kart is also a Kosmic Mercury RR but fitted with front brakes also and stickier tyres. The engine is a 125cc Direct Drive with a 2 sped gearbox. The is capable of speeds up to 160kmh+. Both classes are extremely competitive and he has risen very quickly to be one of the fastest drivers in both classes.
