Cameron started racing karts in 2022 and has fast become one of the quickest on the tracks around the country. He was awarded a Tier 1 rating within 6 months of racing and has been competing at a national level ever since.

2023 Started his first full year racing in Auckland and achieved the title of Rotax Lights champion of 2023, also winning overall points champion in Rotax Lights for Kartsport Auckland. He represented New Zealand in the Rotax USA Trophy Final in September 2023.

After a year of relentless testing and racing, he earned his first national title as the 2024 National Schools champion, then went on to represent New Zealand in 2024 at the Rotax Max World Finals in Sarno, Italy, just weeks before the launch of the all-new Toyota GR86 Championship.

In 2024, he competed in the Toyota GR Championship 2024/2025, finishing an impressive 10th in his Rookie Year. Winning the Race Weekend & Rookie at Hampton Downs was a career highlight. The next round in Teretonga, another driver made a mistake that cost Cameron his chance of Rookie of the year and his car for another two rounds. Cameron’s car won best Livery for the Toyota GR Championship 2024.

2025 has been another incredible year for Cameron. He was selected for the NZ Motorsport Elite Academy, coming 2nd in the NZ Motorsport Elite Academy 2025 camp week & having ongoing support until the overall winner is announced in May 2026

The New Zealand Karting Championship for the DD2 Class for 2025 saw Cameron placed 3rd in New Zealand after having a six month break from karting to pursue car racing.

Cameron is 18 years old and attends Kristin School, located in Albany, Auckland. Cameron’s aspiration is to build a career in motorsport. His ultimate goal for 2025/2026 is to win the Toyota GR86 Championship.
